In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the College of Administrative Technical Studies / Kufa held its sixth session of the College Council for the academic year 2024/2025 on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The session was chaired by the esteemed Chairman of the College Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Dhirgham Hassan Al-Abdali, with the presence of the esteemed council members.
During the session, the council discussed a number of important issues and recommendations aimed at enhancing the academic and research processes at the college. The main points of discussion included the recommendations from the esteemed Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which emphasized:
- The importance of solid scientific publishing and encouraging faculty members to contribute to high-quality research.
- Supporting faculty members regarding academic promotions and providing the means that contribute to the development of their academic careers.
- Strengthening scientific partnerships and expanding cooperation with academic and research institutions to achieve the desired goals.
The council also reviewed the recommendations from the esteemed University President, which focused on:
- Paying attention to the university environment and improving the cleanliness of the campus.
- Training students on how to present themselves and write professional resumes, contributing to their preparation for the job market.
- Extending the study period for graduate students in accordance with the applicable regulations and instructions.
- Preparing to organize scientific conferences and working towards their success, reflecting the distinguished academic level of the college.
At the end of the session, the Chairman of the Council emphasized the importance of working diligently to implement these recommendations to contribute to the academic and administrative progress of the college. The council then proceeded to discuss the other items on the agenda.
