Established in 2010

The Legal Division is one of the core administrative units in the college, responsible for providing legal consultations and overseeing the integrity of legal procedures within the institution. The division ensures the implementation of applicable regulations and laws, reviews contracts and agreements, and participates in administrative investigations, thereby contributing to the protection of the college’s rights and ensuring that all dealings comply with the proper legal framework.

To lead in providing professional and fully transparent legal services within the university, contributing to the establishment of an academic and administrative environment grounded in respect for regulations and laws.

To provide effective legal support to the college administration and all its members through meticulous review of procedures and contracts, and by offering specialized legal consultations, thereby enhancing compliance with regulations and safeguarding the college’s rights.

Ensuring that all administrative and academic activities and procedures comply with the approved regulations and bylaws.

Providing accurate legal consultations to the various departments and units within the college.

Drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements to ensure the protection of the college’s rights and obligations.

Participating in investigation and disciplinary committees and contributing to the issuance of sound legal recommendations.

Promoting legal awareness among college members through workshops and awareness lectures.

Coordinating with higher legal authorities at the university or the Ministry of Education to ensure legal consistency in procedures.

Rights and Legal Claims Unit
This unit is responsible for following up on legal cases and lawsuits in which the college is a party, whether before courts or other judicial authorities. It works to preserve and defend the college’s legal rights by coordinating with relevant entities and ensuring effective legal representation of the college.

Property and Housing Unit

This unit oversees the management of the college’s properties and staff/faculty housing. Its tasks include allocating housing units, maintaining property, and monitoring related contracts. It ensures optimal use of facilities in accordance with regulations and guidelines.

Legal Consultation Unit
This unit specializes in providing legal opinions to the various departments and units within the college regarding legal issues and challenges they face. It is committed to offering accurate consultations based on current laws and regulations to support sound and legally grounded decision-making.

Contracts and Guarantees Unit
This unit is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and following up on all contracts and agreements entered into by the college with other parties, in addition to managing official guarantee procedures. Its goal is to ensure the legality and validity of these contracts and to protect the college’s interests within the approved legal frameworks.

Electronic Archiving Unit
This unit manages the electronic preservation and organization of legal and administrative documents using modern content management systems. It aims to facilitate quick and secure access to information while ensuring long-term preservation in accordance with best legal and technical practices.
