
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the college is dedicated to empowering women both academically and socially. It strives to support and develop the capabilities of female students and staff through specialized activities and programs that enhance their role within the educational institution and the broader community. The unit also aims to promote the principles of equality and justice, and to foster a safe and supportive university environment.

Mechanism of Work – Women’s Affairs Unit
The Women’s Affairs Unit operates within an administrative and awareness-based framework aimed at empowering women and enhancing their role within the university through the following steps:
Identifying Needs and Challenges
The unit collects and analyzes data related to the needs of female students and staff, using direct observation, surveys, and open meetings.
Developing an Annual Plan of Activities and Programs
The unit prepares an annual plan that includes awareness campaigns, development courses, health and psychological initiatives, and community-based programs targeting women.
Coordination with Other Departments and Units
The unit collaborates with academic and administrative departments, the Psychological Counseling Unit, and the Continuing Education Unit to implement joint programs in support of women.
Implementation of Events and Activities
Workshops, seminars, lectures, and exhibitions are organized according to a set schedule, involving female students and staff in both execution and evaluation.
Following Up on Women’s Issues within the College
The unit receives cases requiring support or follow-up, whether related to the educational environment or social and professional conditions.
Documentation and Reporting
All activities and achievements are documented by the unit, and periodic reports are submitted to the college administration, including recommendations, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Establishing External Relations
The unit seeks to build partnerships with civil society organizations and relevant state institutions concerned with women’s issues to enhance support and mutual cooperation.
