The Information Technology Division seeks to develop outstanding cadres capable of creativity and innovation in the fields of computing and information technology, and to contribute effectively to digital transformation and community service.

Leadership in supporting and qualifying graduates, facilitating their integration into the labor market, and building strategic partnerships with employment sectors to provide sustainable career opportunities.

Preparing students and graduates through training and professional development, enhancing their employability skills in line with labor market requirements, and building a database that contributes to effective linkage between graduates and employers.

The unit’s operational mechanism is based on providing professional and career guidance support to students and graduates through a series of continuous procedures and plans, including the following:

Collecting and Continuously Updating Graduate Data
The unit establishes an electronic database containing information on all graduates, updating it periodically to ensure readiness for communication with potential employers.

Conducting Labor Market Surveys
The unit monitors labor market needs in terms of required skills and specializations by coordinating with both public and private sector companies and institutions to identify employment trends.

Organizing Training Courses and Workshops
The unit offers preparatory courses such as résumé writing, interview skills, digital skills, entrepreneurship, and professional communication, tailored to students’ fields of study.

Building Partnerships with Employers
The unit works on signing memorandums of understanding or engaging in direct cooperation with companies and institutions to offer student training and direct or internship-based employment opportunities.

Hosting Job Fairs and Career Forums
The unit organizes annual or seasonal job fairs on campus, inviting companies and institutions to present available opportunities and interact directly with graduates.

Providing Career Counseling and Guidance
The unit offers career counseling services to students through one-on-one sessions or group meetings to help them choose suitable career paths.

 

Tracking Graduates and Documenting Success Stories
The unit follows up on graduates working in the public and private sectors, documents success stories, and encourages alumni to participate in university activities as a source of inspiration for their peers.
