Under the Patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Dirgham Hassan Abd Al-Abdali, respected,The Department of Business Administration Technologies, in cooperation with the Technology Incubator Unit, organized a training course entitled: “The Role of Strategic Entrepreneurship in Achieving Competitive Advantage.”The course focused on the importance of strategic entrepreneurship as an integration between entrepreneurial thinking and strategic planning. It relies on exploiting new opportunities and innovating in the delivery of products and services, while making optimal use of available resources. Entrepreneurial management encourages creativity, calculated risk-taking, and rapid response to market changes, enabling the organization to stand out from its competitors.The course included discussion sessions and presentations highlighting successful local and international experiences in the field, in addition to recommendations emphasizing the necessity for organizations to adopt strategic entrepreneurship within their long-term plans rather than relying solely on traditional administrative approaches, given its clear impact on achieving competitive superiority.It also stressed the importance of senior management encouraging employees to innovate and be creative by providing a flexible work environment that supports new ideas and rewards entrepreneurial initiatives.During the course, the lecturer affirmed that strategic entrepreneurship is no longer merely a theoretical concept, but has become an essential necessity for the success of organizations in a rapidly changing competitive environment. He noted that organizations that embrace innovation, capitalize on market opportunities, and adopt strategic thinking are more capable of achieving excellence and sustainability compared to traditional institutions.
