Speech of the Dean Administrative Technical College – Kufa Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical UniversityPraise be to Allah, who taught by the pen, taught man that which he knew not, and made knowledge and work the opposites of ignorance and laziness. Praise be to Him for bestowing upon us reason in abundance, and guiding us to the two paths in perfection. All praise and thanks are due to Him — the praise of the grateful — and peace and blessings be upon the Master of Messengers, Muhammad, and upon his pure and noble family.After that…My assignment as Dean of the Administrative Technical College / Kufa – Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, is a trust that I have accepted with determination and strength, to continue what my esteemed predecessors have begun in this role. My goal is to advance the college and achieve a qualitative leap in its prosperity and development, so it may occupy the position it truly deserves.Since its establishment in 2007, the college has made remarkable progress in academic rankings, surpassing many of its counterparts through its advanced academic programs. At the undergraduate level (Bachelor’s), the college currently includes three departments:Department of Business Administration TechnologiesDepartment of Accounting TechnologiesDepartment of Information Management TechnologiesAs part of the college’s strategic plans, promising new departments are set to be introduced in the coming academic year to meet the needs of the labor market and the aspirations of our dear students and their respected families.At the postgraduate level, the college now offers five diverse programs:Ph.D. in Accounting TechnologiesM.Sc. in Accounting TechnologiesM.Sc. in Cost Accounting Technologies (within the Accounting Department)M.Sc. in Business Administration TechnologiesM.Sc. in Strategic Management Technologies (within the Business Administration Department)The college also plans to launch two new programs:M.Sc. in Information Management TechnologiesPh.D. in Business Administration TechnologiesThese are being developed through the dedicated efforts of our distinguished faculty members.The college has not rested on its laurels after achieving these outstanding milestones. Rather, it has continued to work tirelessly to realize its goals, mission, and vision through carefully timed and structured programs and plans. It is moving forward on two parallel tracks: scientific advancement and service enhancement.The college has become a beacon of knowledge and research while also being a beautiful and lush environment, combining elegance with deep academic and research roots. This has attracted more researchers and graduate students, who frequently visit its library, which contains thousands of references and resources. Additionally, the college has launched its own academic journal that accepts research in all administrative disciplines.The college has also strengthened its outreach and cooperation with public institutions, state departments, and the wider community by actively participating in conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as providing administrative and accounting studies that support both the public and private sectors — all in service of our beloved country.And success is from Allah.
