Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation

Overview

Quality Assurance Division is the entity responsible for implementing academic and administrative quality standards within the college, contributing to improving institutional performance and developing the educational environment. The division works on promoting a culture of quality, evaluating academic programs, measuring performance, and achieving institutional excellence by monitoring performance indicators and ensuring compliance with national and international quality standards in higher education.

Promoting a culture of quality and enhancing effective institutional practices through the implementation of quality assurance systems and continuous self-assessment, supporting the achievement of academic and administrative goals in accordance with locally and internationally recognized standards.

Objectives

Implementing an effective internal quality assurance system across all college departments.

Evaluating academic and administrative programs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Preparing periodic reports on institutional and program performance and submitting them to relevant authorities.

Supporting departments in preparing academic accreditation requirements and standardizing quality templates.

Conducting workshops and training programs to build the capacities of academic and administrative staff in the field of quality.

Monitoring the achievement of performance indicators and ensuring their alignment with the college’s strategic plan.

Promoting a culture of quality among all college members and motivating their participation in evaluation processes.

Supporting research and development in the areas of improving the quality of education and learning.

Units Affiliated with the

Quality Assurance Division

Electronic Archiving Unit
Responsible for preserving and documenting all documents and records related to quality assurance activities within the college, including evaluation reports, surveys, accreditation files, and performance results. The unit aims to build an organized and secure institutional database that facilitates follow-up, review, and auditing.

Quality Assurance Unit
The central unit for implementing and monitoring the application of institutional and academic quality standards within the college. It supervises the preparation of procedural manuals, supports departments in applying quality practices, and prepares periodic reports related to continuous improvement and total quality assurance.

Performance Evaluation Unit
Specializes in assessing the performance of academic and administrative departments through objective indicators and approved evaluation standards. The unit analyzes survey results and annual reports, compares them with institutional goals, and provides recommendations to improve performance and develop institutional capabilities.

Laboratory Accreditation Unit
Concerned with monitoring the implementation of scientific laboratory accreditation requirements within the college according to ministerial and national standards. It follows up on the readiness of laboratories in terms of equipment, safety, procedures, personnel, and documentation of lab work, aiming to ensure a safe and high-quality scientific environment.

University Performance Unit
Responsible for measuring and analyzing university performance indicators specific to the college in light of local and global ranking requirements (such as government or ministry performance rankings). This unit tracks the achievement of performance indicators and submits reports to management to help improve the college’s position in university rankings.
